This is the Communities College!

College or the foundation - Foundation is the means, Relationship is between the college and the community.

Measure was passed with a 63% passage - Measure A new building funds.

Construction of 4-5 new buildings

Looking to the future - Yreka Rural Health Sciences Center

Future funding might be a problem - 2/1 donation match

Endowment

Every new building should be endowed because less and less may come from the state.

$80,000/year for five years. Goal is to get $1,000,000

Measure A is a construction funding. It would be nice to not need to rely on the state for funding.

Role of the College in the community. Diverse views. County wide.
Dollege as a model for the Community, walk the talk.

We can identify with the people trained at the college such ast EMT, Fire.

Activities: Golf, Craft, Dinner, Performing Arts Series, Sports Hall of Fame,

Foundation started with raising friends.

16 events per year

What does measure A mean for the community.

Rural health center.

Look to the future and the strong partnership

Health industry is were the bulk of the money is the Siskiyou county.

65% seniors in the County from a few years ago.

Partnership between the community and the college.

Part time residents need to have a stake in the college.

Davis med students will be using the facilities in Yreka.

Real time data flow for medical EMT to doctors in the hospital

Everyone should care about the college, because the community needs us and the community needs to support the college.

Christmas Faire is a foundation.

Lots of photographs. Love shots. The more the better.

Looking out into the future ... 20 year visioning.

Get people together, collaborate and develop ideas.

Leadership role, helping the community ask the questions about the future needs.

Environmental impact program. Green solar. Not everyone is on board. Tree hunger. What is the colleges role in the environmental issues.

The college has a role in having a discussion about difficult ideas.

Critical thinking skills. Debate is good.

Same message with different words.

Different answers to the same questions.

Some times you a re crazy! Go home!

No politics! Solution orientated. Lets all get along. One size does not fit all. This county is so big and diverse.

Celebration, new energy

Distance learning center. In in many high school class rooms in the County.

Walmart grant.

Health professionals will be doing a video networked meeting around the campus around Siskiyou county.

The future vision is not for us.

1957 COS.

The foundation is very young. Bond measure and what has been invested.

Financial giving is not down in the local domain.
