Community Hotline

A cable program connecting the community with community service organizations. Promoting local organizations. Sharing information about services, events and issues. Non-profits speaking directly to our cable and Internet audience. This is a service of Siskiyou Media Council

Art Tuesdays

"Art Tuesdays" is a cable show that provides an easy outlet for artists to present their work to a large audience. The series is produced by the professional staff of Siskiyou Media Council and volunteers of the Siskiyou Arts Council.

Civic Agenda

“Civic Agenda” is a collaboration between Siskiyou Media Council, Siskiyou County and the cities of Yreka, Dunsmuir, Mount Shasta and Weed. Each group gets 15 minutes on the show to highlight an aspect of local governance. All content is created by the jurisdictions, hosted by local civic leaders, and produced by Siskiyou Media Council staff.

Because the content is created by the jurisdictions, many aspects of local government are presented to viewers in unique ways. Discussions relate to the daily lives of those living in Siskiyou County, providing information about the community as well as resources and programs available to the public.

Music on the Air

Recorded at the studios of MCTV 15 located on the campus of the College of the Siskiyous, "Music on the Air" showcases performances by local musicians. From jazz and classical ensembles to local acoustic performers the show features a whole range of musical styles. The show is produced by professional staff of Siskiyou Media Council.

Siskiyou Media Council created this show to feature people sharing their short stories from across Siskiyou County. Why they live in this area, their history, jobs, hobbies and other activities.

MCTV 15 Pulse

“The Pulse” is a monthly program that connects the community to the events and opportunities that MCTV 15 offers to the public. In this monthly chat-fest we talk about what is going on at MCTV 15 and how you can join in the fun. In this show, the viewer gets information about MCTV 15 events, new partnerships, news about the our Internet services and knowledge about the great shows we air.

This fast moving show is broken into six segments; general information, whats new, Internet social, upcoming events, behind the scenes and volunteer spotlight. We hear from volunteers on why they spend their time at MCTV 15 and we hear from staff member on different facets of what we do at our community media station.

Special Productions

In addition to on-going series programs, the MCTV 15 Production staff are busy recording many community events each month. With the assistance of our dedicated volunteer crews, you'll find MCTV 15 producers at music festivals, parades, forums and other happenings in our area.
