Happy New Year
We are starting 2010 in gratitude for our continuing opportunity for public access to a great facility here in Siskiyou County that allows us to practice free speech, and to the community of volunteers and professionals that help to support us!
Volunteer & Producer Meeting
Feburary 2, 2010
Come join in a discussion on the direction of MCTV15 with Executive Director Audra Gibson. Many changes came out of last year's meeting that helped support the producers and volunteers that use the Studio at COS. Please come with your questions and suggestions to improve operations, and share your perspectives with the current and new board members and staff that shape the policies and procedures for MCTV15. Learn about opportunities that are coming up in the Spring for professional production services projects that are in need of staffing. This is a great way to have input that will be used for prioritizing the plan of work for Siskiyou Media Council for the coming year. Be a part of the solutions, we want your input! The meeting with be held at Strings restaurant 316 N. Mt. Shasta Blvd. in Mt. Shasta on Feb 2, 2010 starting a 6:30pm sharp. No Host dinner and beverages available.
Orientation Meeting
January 19, 2010
Tuesday Jan 19th 7:00 - 8:30 pm MCTV15 Studio COS. MCTV15 offers a FREE class to introduce community members interested in learning about the great opportunities offered by public access at our local facility on the Weed campus of COS. This is the first step in the process of becoming an Access Producer. Orientations are held on the second Tuesday of each month. Next one is February 9th.
As an MCTV15 Access Producer you have the privilege of checking out video equipment for public access use, access to additional media training, use of the studio to produce a show, put on a live program and use video editing equipment.
