Eric Siems
Eric Siems randomly visited our area in the summer of 1992 and has been proud to call it his permanent home ever since. He has worked as a performer, audio engineer, and concert promoter for local organizations such as The Mt. Shasta Chamber of Commerce, Siskiyou Arts Council, the Mt. Shasta Humane Society, the Mt. Shasta Skate Park Project, and the Weed Revitalization Committee. He also performed and engineered Tobacco Education Concert Assemblies for The Siskiyou County Tobacco Education Project at the Mt. Shasta Sisson Elementary, Butteville Elementary and Senior, Butte Valley Unified, and Gazelle Union Elementary Schools.
In 2000, Eric's lifelong dream was realized when he created Positive Productions. He has engineered and promoted nationally renown touring legends such as Country Joe McDonald, Kelly Joe Phelps, Wayne Horvitz, The David Nelson Band, Commander Cody & His Lost Planet Airmen, Mike Clark, Garaj Mahal, Vinyl, Tony Furtado, Umphrey's McGee, Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon, The Motet and The Hot Buttered Rum String Band.
In 2004, Positive Productions booked, promoted & produced Mt. Shasta's 4th of July Celebration main stage entertainment for The Mt. Shasta Chamber of Commerce. It was then, that Eric was first introduced to Judith Conrad and John Cumming of MCTV 15. He now produces and hosts his own weekly TV show for MCTV 15 - "Positive Music with Eric Siems."
